Snacks:
- Bring a generous amount of snack food to contribute to the snack food bin.
- Bring enough for at least 10 random students to enjoy
- Examples include serving size packages of cookies, crackers, fruit roll-ups, granola bars…
- The more nutritious and filling, the better, and the more snacks there are, the brighter the smiles.

- Just large enough to carry two water containers, sunscreen, hat, rain poncho or rain gear, light jacket, journal, pen/pencil, extra socks, and a bandana
- 2 water containers
- Include your name or a personal charm attached to identify that the bottles are yours (essential)
- Sleeping Bag (super warm one)
- Sleeping Pad/Cushion (thick rather than thin due to cold nights)
- Very important for sweet dreams
- Pillow (or soft jacket to serve as a pillow)
- Disposable wipes to clean face at night

Clothes:
- 4 Long-sleeve shirts
- Fast-drying material is better, NO SLEEVELESS OR TANK TOPS are allowed
- 2 Pairs of Long Pants
- Fast-drying material is best since jeans/sweats would not dry
- 1 Pair of Cropped pants
- NO SHORTS are allowed
- 1 Stocking Cap for morning and evening chill
- 1 Sun cap or visor
- 1 Pair of gloves for morning and evening chill
- 1 Rain Jacket/Pants or Poncho (Very Important)
- 1 medium-weight Fleece or Jacket (Very Important)
- 1 Pair sturdy shoes for hiking
- 1 Pair camp shoes
- NO OPEN TOES due to environmental dangers
- 1 Extra pair of shoes to keep in reserve to replace wet shoes
- 1 Pair of old shoes for wading
- 6 Pairs of socks
- 4 Sets of Underwear
- 1 Warm sleeping top & bottom
- Winter weight sweat pants and top are recommended
Optional:
- Cards, Board Games, Soccer Ball, Football, Frisbee, Reading Material, Ladder Ball, Fishing Gear, a favorite stuffed animal

- There is no cell phone service and only limited electrical service and expensive electronics are vulnerable to being lost or damaged.
- Hair Dryer or electric toothbrush
- There are no electrical outlets
- Make-Up
- Unnecessary and no opportunity to apply it
- Personal Stashes of Candy or Food items of any sort in the tents
- Due to critter problem
- Short or sleeveless tops
- Impractical in the environment
